With its highly-polished chrome panels and it's iconic curves, this retro American Airstream has been renovated to the highest standard, for a unique glamping experience in Devon. It has a private Oak Japanese wood-fired bath spa, double hammock and even air conditioning.
For a little history – this particular Airstream is a 'Sovereign of the Road' and was owned by a member of Wally Byam's (founder of Airstream trailers) Caravanners Club. It is number 1234 and has the original stickers from a 1961 Omaha, Nebraska meeting still on its windows. This quirky hideaway is nestled into a corner within a private woodland, making it a great place to escape. Inside the Airstream the furnishings are in keeping with the retro style; cosy down on the burnt orange leather sofa and watch a film on the Smart TV with a hot cup of coco or glass of wine. The fully equipped kitchen has cleverly hidden appliances such as an induction hob, oven, coffee machine, fridge with ice box and dishwasher. Along with the Smart TV, there are many mod cons including a sound system, WiFi, underfloor heating and air conditioning. There is a power shower in a separate bathroom along with a WC and basin. Outside, its like having your own private club. There is a wood-fired bath spa, double hammock, dining area with BBQ and parasol, outdoor chess set and table of football.
A welcome hamper is provided to help you settle in, this is filled with local West Country produce.
