This rustic lodge with a hot tub is set beautifully at How Stean Gorge in the Yorkshire Dales. Sleeping up to four in two double beds, this is the ultimate place to stay with loved ones or friends. There is so much to do on your doorstep including via ferrata, caving, canoeing, gorge walking, abseiling and many more!
There are seven lodges on the site, and these are the most wonderful way to spend a long weekend exploring the incredible surrounding landscape. This lodge is made up of a double bunk bed. It is equipped with a wood burning stove, sofa and a fully equipped kitchen with; fridge, oven, hob, sink and all pots, pans and utensils. Toasty and warm, there is heating and electric charging points. There is a wood-fired hot tub included with the lodge. Outside is a BBQ and the on-site cafe is a perfect place to grab something to eat. There is also an indoor washing up area here with fresh water from the spring. A very short walk away is a facilities block which is complete with underfloor heating, ten showers, basins and hair dryers. The site is what brings people to How Stean, it is packed with so much to do. The cafe overhanging the gorge is made with floor to ceiling glass, and even some floor glass – they serve hot and cold homemade, locally sourced food throughout the day as well as drinks. There is an on site shop, also open all day. This is stocked with lots of local artisan goods, along with everyday essentials.
The activities available are: Caving, gorge walking, canoeing, stand up paddle boarding, canoeing, cave camping, mountain biking, via ferrata (high wire adventure), night walking, hill walking, bouldering, orienteering, raft building, heli-canyoning and abseiling, along with various packages. The activities are booked direct with the owner, whose details will be passed on to you on booking.

Free parking is available close to each cabin.
The site offers a minibus and driver for those who would like to go out for food further afield, this is an additional charge and booked direct with the site.
