The picturesque Oak Retreat has everything you could want or need for a break away from everyday life. Designed with function and comfort in mind, Oak Retreat is a perfect back-to-nature haven. Reconnect with a simpler life in front of the wood burning stove, share a game of cards or relax and read a book in the comfortable seating area. The kitchenette is well-equipped with pots, pans, utensils and crockery along with an electric oven, gas hob and fridge – everything you need to rustle up a well-deserved feast after a day spent discovering the Eden Valley and Lake District.
At night, the cosy wood-floored seating area drops down to transform into a bedroom, offering a comfortable and spacious double bed where you can sink into the feather bedding and enjoy a blissful nights sleep. Enjoy complete privacy in the en-suite shower room that provides all of the space you will need to freshen up after a day spent exploring. Towels and complementary local toiletries are supplied.
Stepping outside, you can admire far reaching views over the beautiful Lake District National Park. Dining alfresco has never been easier, with Oak Retreat offering a firepit, barbecue and comfortable garden furniture for two guests. You can while away the peaceful evenings whilst taking in the views that envelop Oak Retreat.
Oak Retreat is just over a mile from Greystoke Village which can be reached by footpath from the hamlet of Blencowe. Set in the Eden Valley in Cumbria, considered one of the most beautiful and rural areas in England, Blencowe is situated on the edge of the Lake District, about four miles from the Lake District National Park.
