flying a helicopter incorporates 3 different key factors: flying, navigation and observation. this three stage trail lesson will give you the opportunity to try all three and help you with the key skills needed to get your own pilot’s licence! your lesson is preceded by a short flight briefing with an experienced instructor who will explain all aspects of the flight, including the effects of the controls and how a helicopter flies. once airborne you will then be allowed to take the controls and actually fly the helicopter! after this, you will be a passenger for the next two flights, this will enable you to develop the skills of navigation and observation….
