around britain you will find some of the most idyllic rivers in the country, from the beautiful river wye in wales, to the historic river avon. this experience allows you to slowly paddle along these meandering water ways while you enjoy the surroundings. there’s something calming about propelling a craft down rivers. if you want more testing water then there’s plenty of faster moving areas on the river. on this ‘guided tour’ instructors are always encouraging development of kayaking and canoeing techniques throughout your trip. your experience will begin with you being kitted out in a wetsuit and life jacket and choosing whether you want to canoe or kayak. then you will go through some basic paddling techniques so you know what to once you’re in the water. don’t worry, your instructor will always be close at hand to coach and will help you back into your boat if you fall in the water….
