spend a few hours with our passionate bird team in the birds of paradise area. you will see parrots, owls, love birds, lorikeets and other exotic birds. you will assist with the preparation of feeds for the birds and spend time with the penguins. this will be followed by the handling and flying of two of our birds. you will also learn about our work with bird conservation, food, enrichment and welfare. your experience will start with welcome refreshments in the discovery centre where you will be met by a member of the team who will guide you through this unique and memorable experience.you will be escorted to the birds of paradise area to enjoy a tour of the bird collection. once you have had a chance to discover all the different characteristics and capabilities of the birds you will assist with the preperation of feeds for the birds. this will be followed by the handling and flying of a selection of our birds. throughout the morning you will learn about the work with bird conservation, food, enrichment, and welfare.included in this experience package is a presentation certificate and souvenir t-shirt. don’t forget to bring your camera to capture your new friends on film….
