With Tommi Mäkinen behind the wheel, the Mitsubishi Evolution was massively successful in the world of professional rally driving in the 90’s, and the red and white of the Evo became truly iconic, even being immortalised in WRC computer games!The Mitsubishi Evolution 8 blasted its way onto our roads back in 2003, becoming an instant hit with speed freaks and rally fans everywhere. It had the same distinctive style as its predecessors, but with some modernisation and precision engineering, the Evo 8 was a (literally) roaring success. It boasts a 2 litre turbo-charged engine that gets you from 0-60 mph in a rip roaring 3.5 seconds, and it is capable of speeds up to around 170mph.
