Towering high above the ground and making most cars look positively tiny, tanks, diggers and bulldozers really are the top dogs of the vehicle world. This Hampshire Experience gives a lucky participant the chance to get behind the wheel of not 1 but 5 of them! Whether your favourite turns out to be the mammoth Mid-range Excavator or the 25 tonne 6×6 Articulated Dump Truck, you are guaranteed a morning or afternoon full of excitement. Once you have arrived at the centre your first stop will be the outdoor picnic area to meet one of the friendly and experienced instructors. Here, you’ll have a quick chat to get to know everyone and cover some of the safety basics. Clued up and raring to go, you will take your place in the drivers seat and get ready to experience a whole new form of power! Starting off with the 6×6 Articulated Dump Truck followed by the slightly smaller Minidigger, you will learn to drive, control and manoeuvre the machines with the guidance of your instructor. 2 down and still 3 exhilarating rides to go, you will move on to the Liebherr 911 Bulldozer and the Mid range Excavator where you will be able to practice scooping and moving the earth, before finishing your day with a ride on one of the impressive Tanks. Your digger experience will end back at the picnic area with a complimentary cup of tea or coffee in front of the roaring wood burner. Opportunities to spend a a few hours driving a range of diggers and monster machines don’t come around often.
