Explore the grounds of Tatton Park, Cheshire – Segway style, with this marvellous midweek experience! Step onto a Segway, and discover just how much fun these ingenious Personal Transporters are. Your Segway experience starts once you have signed in and been given your protective gear. You will be introduced to the Segway, and shown how to safely mount it, make it move (and stop), and dismount. Don’t worry if you find it a little strange at first – it does take a few minutes to get used to – but your instructor will give you plenty of guidance and even play some Segway games with you and the group, to get you all riding confidently and feeling comfortable. Once you’re ready, your guide will take you on a tour of the woodland track, pointing out any obstacle you should avoid and getting you familiar with your surroundings. Then, you can head off out on your own around the Segway track in the grounds of the beautiful Tatton Park. It won’t be long before you start to put the Segway to the test, seeing how fast it can go and how fast it can stop, and playing with the incredibly intuitive ‘lean and steer’ technology! There’s lots to see and do at Tatton Park, so once you have finished your Segway experience, you can visit the mansion, grounds and working farm – a fantastic family day out!
