During the course of the full day workshop, you will cover all aspects of capturing excellent black and white images, that are both technically on-point, and aesthetically interesting and beautiful. You will cover topics such as the tonal system and Zone system, different types of light, contrast, measurements, digital specifics, over and underexposing (and the effects created by each), creative black and white photography, image manipulation, black and white studio photography, and light in movement. By the end of the day, you will have a much deeper understanding of the different elements that make a photo excellent, what the rules are for outstanding black and white photography, and when those rules can or should be broken!
