The TRP Spyre is probably the most advanced and one of the lightest mechanical disc brake calipers available on the market Being compatible with all standard drop bar levers, this brake provides the option to switch to discs without having to shell out for a top flight hydraulic disc compatible groupset. The dual piston design gives this brake multiple advantages over its competitors. Unlike single piston calipers, the Spyre can be adjusted easily, with an inline adjuster, at the handlebar, to compensate for pad wear, with no need for adjustment at the caliper. The dual pistons also mean more even pad contact, meaning more even pad wear. The Spyre is also incredibly simple to set up.
