Shimano recommends the use of SM-RT64 “Servo Wave” brake discs but the brake is also compatible with all other Shimano Centerlock brake discs like the SM-RT68. The “Servo Wave” system helps to move the brake pads faster to the brake disc which results in faster brake engagement. Open clamp band with hinge construction for easy installation.
