This means the 45cm model is 42cm at the hoods (47cm model, 44cm). Compound-curved bends preserve the vertical alignment of brake/shifter levers at their mounting point, so the transmission manufacturer’s designed ergonomics are not compromised despite the outward flare of the drops. The bar’s centre section of 31.8mm is extended and reinforced to mount crosstop brake levers. Over rough ground that jostles the rider’s handhold, ErgoTerra offers more lateral clearance for the forearms, which should also help with run-ups….
