One quoted as saying ‘the most peaceful, exhilarating and life enhancing experience we have had in a long time’

and another

‘ The setting is stunning, in the middle of a forest with a fresh stream which we braved for a morning dip! The yurt itself is beautiful, has everything you need including a log burner and sheep skin rugs for luxury lounging around. A few hours spent in this idyllic spot makes all your stress and worries disappear. I can’t recommend a weekend break here enough, it really was like a slice of heaven’

The Eco Retreats site lies in a remote and beautiful location on a 1,300 acre organic farm. The site is four and a half miles up a forest track which leads you through the landscape of the valley and the surrounding hills.

Experience the stay in a Mongolian-style yurt, complete with beds, bedding and an organic hamper.

Featuring all the home comforts, yurts include a double bed with its own bedding, plus two inflatable beds for guests. As well as essential tea and coffee making facilities, there’s also firewood and lighting material.

Fresh water is supplied via a spring close-by, with private washing and toilet facilities available just a few yards away outside each yurt.

Each group will be provided with an organic hamper, filled with treats and snacks to keep hunger at bay. Included items includes biscuits, pasta and sauce.

The view through the yurt roof wheel (described as the ‘Eye of God’ or the ‘Eye of Heaven’ in Mongolian tradition) gives a wonderful outlook to the skies, allowing you hours of peaceful cloud watching or stargazing.
