We at Campingandoutdoorliving love reading about new and interesting camping/glamping ventures. We have previously written about cliff camping, camping in churches and now a decommissioned Boeing 767 passenger jet is being tugged out to sea ready to be transformed into a glamping venue in Ireland.
Quirky Glamping Village is located between Mayo and Sligo along Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way.
It is planning on being a transport themed accommodation park containing a Boeing 767 aeroplane which is currently on a barge, being towed by a tug out the Shannon estuary and into the Atlantic Ocean for its 36-hour journey north.
As well as the plane you can also choose to stay in double decker buses, train carriages, a boat and taxi cabs.
