Camping forums and Facebook pages are a great way to see what fellow campers are talking about, gaining new camping tips and even asking peoples views on camping products.
If you are looking at buying a new tent, The Camping and Caravanning Club have just completed the first ever independent tent survey, the Tent Owner Satisfaction Awards 2016.
Club members and non club members were asked how they rated their purchased and used tents.
The research was carried out between July and October 2015 via an online questionnaire, the full results of the survey were announced at the end of February 2016.
So if you are looking for a new tent, or are new to camping I think these results are worth reading –
The categories range from –
Best tent under £300.00 – Winner: Quechua Air Seconds range
Best tent over £300.00 – Winner: Karsten 350
Top ten individual tent models – Winner: Cabanon Guadeloupe
Up to four-person tents – Winner: Cabanon Classic Range
Five to six-person tents – Winner: Outwell Regency Collection
