This 4×4 driving experience gives you the chance to spend a full day behind the wheel of a modern, monstrous Land Rover Defender as you barrel your way around a purpose built 4×4 off road course, in Essex. This is the ultimate 4×4 driving experience that gives you hours of drive time so that you can get seriously comfortable behind the wheel of the Defender, and have plenty of opportunity to take it round the various challenging natural obstacles on the track. Expect to conquer some seriously steep hills and descents, some mad mud and ridiculously rough terrain, and even a deep water run throughout the course of the day. Your driving experience begins in the morning with a welcome and a safety briefing, before you go out around the course to do some ‘sighting laps’ to get used to the course while your instructor drives. Next up is your drive control course, where you’ll work on navigation and terrain familiarisation – this can be a little challenging at first but you’ll have an expert instructor on-hand throughout and you’re in very safe hands! This will take you up as far as lunch, which is some army-style grub.
