This awesome Barricade Mustang Driving Experience is a seriously exciting one, even if you’re not a fan of Michael Bay’s awesome Transformer movies! But for fans of the film who are also proper petrol heads, this driving day at Goodwood Motor Circuit really couldn’t get much better. During the Mustang Driving Experience at Goodwood, you’ll get to drive none other than ‘Barricade’, the absolute beast of a Mustang GT V8 that you may recognise as the souped up police car from Transformers. Okay, it’s not the actual car from the film, but it’s an exact replica in every way… except of course, this one doesn’t turn into a huge robot monster – which is probably a good thing. It’s a burly, fast and powerful car, with a roaring V8 engine and all the style and speed that American Muscle cars are renowned for. There really couldn’t be a better place to drive it either; Goodwood Motor Circuit is one of the UK’s favourite race tracks, with superb fast straights and tricky corners to challenge and excite drivers of all ability. An instructor will be in Barricade with you during your drive, so you can be sure you get the most from your laps and that you really test the car’s mettle (and your own). Our biggest tip for this one is not to forget your camera – this is a car you’ll want to take selfies with!
