This is the ultimate experience where you can learn how to drive a nostalgic vehicle of yesteryear – a Stanley Steam Car. On this half day experience, you’ll get to enjoy time driving the steam car and breaking for quintessentially British tea and cake.The stunning 1900s car will always remain a classic vehicle adored by motor fans, and this is your chance to get behind the wheel yourself. The day will start with a warming cup of tea or coffee whilst you wait for the car to be steamed, and an introduction to the expert instructor who will lead the experience. You’ll then spend the next two and a half hours sharing the driving through the Northamptonshire countryside. Part way through the experience, you’ll stop at a local cafe next to a beautiful reservoir for more tea and cake, before continuing on with the journey. The driving time is shared between the passengers so you’ll get to enjoy around 30 minutes driving each, the rest of the time you can sit back and enjoy the ride as a passenger.
