Located in the heart of the Shropshire Hills, 5 minutes ride from the world famous Minton Batch and the most breath taking scenery of the Longmynd. Traffic-free paths, quiet rural lanes, pretty villages and un-spoilt countryside combine to provide the perfect short break cycling holiday in Church Stretton & the surrounding areas. Take in the heights of the Long Mynd and the lovely Carding mill Valley.
Whether you’re already a cycling enthusiast or not, this break is a great way to enjoy the outdoors on a truly green, healthy break.
Bikes can be hired from the centre or you can bring your own if you prefer. There’s a large free car parking area, a well-stocked Bike shop and showroom filled with components, spares, bikes and clothing from many big names. We have a shower block and bike wash. There’s also a complete onsite mechanic service from a Cytech Qualified Mechanics so if you need advice, something fixed or just some good founded advice and direction everyday.
If you want to turn your visit to Shropshire’s first Mountain Biking & Outdoor Pursuit Centre, into a short break then there are six fabulous heated camping pods that offer year round accommodation.
Simple; comfy, spacious, secure and insulated accommodation. Each camping pod sleeps up to five people and has a great decking extension providing the perfect platform to sunbathe, enjoy a sandwich or just take in the fresh air. Or in the not so sunny seasons, a place to lose those wet shoes before going inside!
Each camping pod also enjoys a heater, lighting & an electrical socket. Bring everything you would need for camping (except the tent, obviously), so you need to bring your own camping mat or bed & bedding, etc. (If you’d prefer to stay under canvas there are 30 pitches.)
Dogs and Pets are welcome and children under 3 stay for free.
Based on two people sharing the usual price is £40 per camping pod, per night (+£5 per person thereafter).

For two people in a camping pod arriving Sunday to Thursday between 8 Sep-11 Dec 2015: Either a 1 or 2 night stay in a Camping Pod £29 or £49 respectively, or a 2 night stay with steak dinner (8oz Sirloin steak) at on-site restaurant (6pm-9pm) £69.
There is a pub situated at the heart of the mountain bike centre so you can relax at ‘The Station Inn’ with a good wholesome meal before or after your ride or just un-wind after a fantastic days adventure. It’s open for breakfast on the weekends
With a Finnish BBQ (Grillikota) in the garden, perfect with friends after a ride, or for parties with family and friends. You can even get food and fresh produce delivered to your camping pod door (or tent zip) also saving valuable space in the car. ‘The Station Inn’ specializes with meat produce including steaks and tasty burgers.
