Black Series Bar Ends are fitted with replaceable domed plastic end caps to prevent rider injury in the event of a crash, and save maximum weight. They are noticeably more comfortable, due to their smooth clamp without protruding bolts or fixings (which also allows for a second hand position for increased leverage when climbing), and their larger 27 mm diameter, similar to that of handle grips.
